What is Menlough?
Menlough is an educational center located in Menlo Park, CA, near Stanford University. Since 1986, the center has served as a resource for the professional and cultural development of university, high school and working men in Silicon Valley. Activities include seminars, retreats, study weekends and speaker series.
The unusual spelling of "Menlough" comes from the town in Ireland for which Menlo Park was named by its immigrant settlers. Menlough’s programs help men dig deep and rediscover their own origins--as members of a storied human family and as sons of God--in order to strike out on bold new paths of service to society.
The Christian orientation of our activities is entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church founded by Saint Josemaría Escrivá.
